PEREGRINE ON THE ROCKS

Carola Spadoni

with Tomaso Binga, Paola Gandolfi, Anna Raimondo

Here I find myself in an angular place, shady and granite, surrounded by images that claim something, from traits that impose leadership.Would I recognize them? Should I follow them? Should I adapt? A peregrina on the rocks please, with salt.

Carola Spadoni for the occasion invited two historical artists and an emergent to occupy the rooms of the Gallery of Modern Art in Rome, which hosts the twentieth century Italian but where there is almost no trace of women’s works. This performance implements the wandering of the female art within the masculine of the history of modern Italian art, bringing on stage a group of artists who have always focused on the theme of women, and whose interventions on this occasion give life to a new blend of visions, like a great drink, with salt.
