Entasi” is a contemporary art project promoted by the cultural association ARCO DI GALLIENO, that is focused on the architectural space of  piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Rome where the exposition takes place.

The inspiration comes from the parameters used to decorate the columns of the romanic churches in occasion of important religious events.

The intension of the exposition is to bring this operation to a different context, the one of a laic and capital city that nowadays, in the Esquilino area, suffers of a heavy degradation that desert the quality architecture of the building.

Through the aesthetic redefinition brought by the works of art, placed according to the columns of the portico, the exhibition wants to give a clear statement: through the art is possible to contrast the urban degradation and the 83 artist here presented are going to present their work to do so.
