The Biennial of Contemporary Art , Biennale of South America BIENALSUR presents the project “Together Apart” to Colombian curators Alex Brahim and Luis Miguel Brahim. The exhibition of 30 international artists will take place in the main emblematic buildings of the border town – Cúcuta (Colombia) from 21st October to 9th December 2017.

Together Apart is an artistic project with authors and reference works in contemporary international art dealing with issues of migration, restraint, citizenship and mobility in times of global migration crisis. In turn, this is the first part of the Cúcuta – Colombia Center for Border Studies (CEF).

The exhibition will take place in the main emblematic buildings of the border town – Cúcuta (north of Santander, Colombia) from 21st October to 9th December 2017. During this period the exhibition is complemented by a program that includes a film component, a pedagogical device with the presence of global thinkers on frontier and two on-the-art artistic research processes.
